Course Outline Winter 2019
AAH Design 4 2019 Winter Term is taught by Megan Oldfield with an emphasis on professional practice.
Each week we will explore aspects of design and production across different design disciplines through lectures, demonstrations and presentations.
All afternoon classes are exclusively reserved for in studio work and feedback.
The term consists 5 assignments, including the design and pre-press production of BUFF, the Art and Art History program student publication; an independent final term project; a final portfolio website of AAH and personal work; an ad to promote the AAH program in Canadian Art and a typography poster series based on a letterpress print from our field trip to Massey College. All briefs are printed and handed out in class and available in Sheridan Assignments under Assignments Winter 2019.
On February 5, 2019, we will visit Massey College Bibliography Room at UofT, for a guided print workshop followed by a tour at Andora Graphics, the company who will handle the printing and pre-press production of BUFF.
